League Administrators

PLEASE NOTE: You must always be on the latest major version of CDE Software's BLS version, in order to upload your data to LeagueSecretary.com. Once a new major version is released, you will not be able to upload with any older versions after 30 days from the release date of the new version. It is always best to stay updated with the latest release.

All Users

How do I locate my League and/or League ID?
To locate your League, click on "Center Search", then the location your center is in. If your Center is not listed, then your League does not upload to our website. If your Center is listed, click on the "## Leagues" link. If your League is not listed, then they do not upload their data to our website.

Why are my standings not updated?
Your standings are uploaded by either your League Secretary or your Bowling Center. If they do not upload the data, we cannot update your standings. Please contact your League Secretary or Bowling Center Management to let them know you want the data uploaded.

How do I contact my League Admin?
Log in to the website with your Username and Password. Locate your league (see How do I locate my League and/or LeagueID?). From the League Header, click on the "Contact League Admin" link. This will enable you to send a message to the person who uploads your league data.

How do I register for an account?
Click on the "Register" link. Registration is FREE.

What do I do if I forgot my UserName and/or Password?
If you have forgotten your UserName or Password, go to our Forgot Password page and enter your email address.

How do I change my Username, Password and/or email address?
Log in to the website with your Username and Password, then select "My Dashboard" (or "MENU", then "My Dashboard" if on a mobile device). From your Dashboard, click on "Change Profile Settings".

How do I locate my League once I am subscribed to it?
Log in to the website with your Username and Password, then select "My Dashboard" (or "MENU", then "My Dashboard" if on a mobile device). From your Dashboard, click on the "My Leagues" link. This will list all of the leagues you are subscribed to.

How do I subscribe to and/or add a League?
Log in to the website with your Username and Password then use our Center/League Search page to locate your league. Once you locate your league, go to any of the League pages and click on the "Get Email Updates" link.

How do I unsubscribe from a specific League?
Log in to the website with your Username and Password, then select "My Dashboard" (or "MENU", then "My Dashboard" if on a mobile device). From your Dashboard, click on the "My Leagues" link. Click on the Delete icon for the corresponding League.

How do I manage my Email preferences?
We send out several different types of emails to our users such as Standing Sheet updates, Lane Assignment Alerts, Virtual Achievement alerts, etc. You have the ability to turn on or off these types of emails. Log in to the website then select "My Dashboard" (or "MENU", then "My Dashboard" if on a mobile device). From your Dashboard, click on the "Email Preferences" link. Uncheck any emails that you no longer wish to receive, then click on the "Save" button.

Why did I stop receiving Emails?
There are multiple reasons you may have stopped receiving Emails. Here are some things you can try to reactivate them:

  1. Check your email settings and be sure you can safely accept emails from support@leaguesecretary.com - This is the number one issue we have found over the years.
  2. Your account may have been deactivated for a number of reasons. Try to log onto the website. This will help reset your account.
  3. Once you are logged on, select "My Dashboard" (or "MENU", then "My Dashboard" if on a mobile device) then "Email Preferences". Make sure you are subscribed to receive the emails.
  4. Lastly, select "My Dashboard" (or "MENU", then "My Dashboard" if on a mobile device) then "My Leagues". Make sure you are still subscribed to the League you should be receiving emails from.

If you have done all of the above, and still do not receive emails from us, please contact us and we will attempt to assist you further.

How do I turn off all of the Advertisements?
We hate Advertisements as much as you do. However, they help pay for our servers and continued development of future features. You do, however, have the option to turn the Advertisements off by upgrading your account. Please see our Upgrade Page for information and pricing.

League Administrators

How do I obtain a LeagueSecretary.com LeagueID?
Log in to the website with your Username and Password. Select "My Dashboard" (or "MENU", then "My Dashboard" if on a mobile device). From your Dashboard, click on either "My Leagues" or "League Admin". You will only see "League Admin" if you have already uploaded a league(s). From either page, click on the "Get a League ID" link.

How do I upload my League data?
Once you have a LeagueSecretary.com League ID, uploading of your League data is a very simple process. Click here for detailed, step-by-step instructions on uploading your League Data.

How do I delete an upload?
Log in to the website with your Username and Password. Select "My Dashboard" (or "MENU", then "My Dashboard" if on a mobile device), then "League Admin". Click on the Admin icon for the corresponding league which will bring you to the League Admin Dashboard. From the League Admin Dashboard, click on the "Delete Upload" button. From there, select the week to delete.

How do I upload my League Rules?
The League Rules must be uploaded as ONE PDF Document. Scan and save your League Rules into one PDF File. Then, log in to the website with your Username and Password. Select "My Dashboard" (or "MENU", then "My Dashboard" if on a mobile device). From your Dashboard, click on the "League Admin" link. Click on the Admin icon for the corresponding league which will bring you to the League Admin Dashboard. From the League Admin Dashboard, click on the "Upload Rules" button. Select the Seaso/Year that the rules apply to. Click on the "Choose File" button and locate the PDF document that contains your League Rules on your computer. Click on the "Upload" button.

How do I change what Center my league is listed in?
The Center in which your League appears in is controlled from within your BLS Program. Please see our your How to Upload page for instructions.

How do I see who is registered to receive emails for my League?
Log in to the website with your Username and Password. Select "My Dashboard" (or "MENU", then "My Dashboard" if on a mobile device). From your Dashboard, click on the "League Admin" link. Click on the Admin icon for the corresponding league which will bring you to the League Admin Dashboard. From the League Admin Dashboard, click on the "Registered Bowlers" button.

How do I add a bowler to receive emails?
Within your BLS Program, under the Bowler Profile, enter the email address in the corresponding field. Upon your next upload, the bowler will be registered to receive emails for your League. Note that if they have unsubscribed from our website or your League, they will not appear on the list.

How do I contact my Bowlers?
Log in to the website with your Username and Password. Select "My Dashboard" (or "MENU", then "My Dashboard" if on a mobile device). From your Dashboard, click on the "League Admin" link. Click on the Admin icon for the corresponding league which will bring you to the League Admin Dashboard. From the League Admin Dashboard, click on the "Contact Bowlers" button.

How do I contact just one Bowler?
Log in to the website with your Username and Password. Select "My Dashboard" (or "MENU", then "My Dashboard" if on a mobile device). From your Dashboard, click on the "League Admin" link. Click on the Admin icon for the corresponding league which will bring you to the League Admin Dashboard. From the League Admin Dashboard, click on the "Registered Bowlers" button. Click on the Email adrress for the bowler you want to send a message to.

How do I download my backup files?
Log in to the website with your Username and Password. Select "My Dashboard" (or "MENU", then "My Dashboard" if on a mobile device). From your Dashboard, click on the "League Admin" link. Click on the Admin icon for the corresponding league which will bring you to the League Admin Dashboard. From the League Admin Dashboard, click on the "Get Backup Files" button. For instructions on how to restore your League files to BLS, please use the CDE Software Knowledge Base.

How do I delete or reassign a league that is assigned to me?
Log in to the website with your Username and Password. Select "My Dashboard" (or "MENU", then "My Dashboard" if on a mobile device). From your Dashboard, click on the "League Admin" link. Click on the Delete icon for the corresponding league. This will remove the League from your administrative assignment. If you are needing an existing league assigned to you, please go to our Reassign League page and follow the instructions.
