Kylie Jenner has basically grown up in the spotlight, so her transformation from tween to teen and now a 20-something mother has all been before our very eyes.

Which means it’s hard not to notice the drastic changes to her appearance in the more than 10 years since Keeping Up With The Kardashians first aired in 2007.

Given Kylie’s current look is a far cry from her sweet 10-year-old appearance when she first became a reality TV star, it begs the question; has Kylie Jenner had plastic surgery?

Photos of the star through the years prove she’s changed a lot, but how much of it was natural versus cosmetic?

While fans and critics have speculated about Kylie having undergone everything from lip filler to a Brazillian Butt Lift (BBL), it’s hard to separate fact from fiction when it comes to her ever-changing aesthetic.

Plenty of KUWTK fans insist that her voluptuous figure is thanks to butt implants and a boob job, but Kylie has always insisted her figure is all-natural.

Well… most of it, at least. After years of denying she’d had lip filler, the star eventually came clean about that particular cosmetic touch-up.

So has she been keeping any other fillers or surgeries under wraps?

Here’s what we know about Kylie Jenner’s plastic surgery treatments.

The truth about Kylie Jenner’s lip fillers

After years of denying she’s had any work done on her lips (she claimed she simply overlined her lips to make them look bigger), Kylie finally admitted to having lip fillers.

During a 2015 episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kylie admits, “I have temporary lip fillers, it’s just an insecurity of mine and it’s what I wanted to do.”

Later in 2017, on an episode of her own reality TV show, Life With Kylie, she talked more openly about her decision to get lip fillers.

“I was 15 and I was insecure about my lips. I have really small lips. And it was like one of my first kisses and a guy was like, ‘I didn’t think you would be a good kisser because you have such small lips’,” she said.

“I took that really hard. When a guy you like says that, I don’t know, it just really affected me. I just didn’t feel desirable or pretty.

“I would overline my lips with the lip liner to create the illusion of bigger lips and then, finally, I was like, this lip liner isn’t doing it and ended up getting my lips done.”

In 2023, she corrected a common “misconception” people have about her plastic surgery, telling Homme Girls:“I think a big misconception about me is that I’ve had so much surgery on my face and that I was some insecure person, and I really wasn’t!” Kylie explained. “Yeah, I love full lips and wanted full lips, but growing up I was always the most confident person in the room. I was the girl performing for everyone.”

“I had my one lip insecurity thing, so I got lip filler, and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. I don’t regret it. But I always thought I was cute.”

She also revealed that she hoped to pass down her confidence to five-year-old daughter Stormi, explaining to the publication that she wants her daughter to remember“that she’s perfect the way that she is. Be confident, always be confident in yourself.”

Back in 2018, after her first baby Stormi was born, Kylie shocked everyone with this Instagram photo that showed off a very natural look.

Followers commented on how beautiful she looked and one said, “she looks like the old Kylie here idk why”, to which Kylie herself replied, “I got rid of all my filler”.

That was July 2018, but by October that same year, she was back to her signature plump pout. This time however, she was completely open about her fillers.

In an Instagram story she thanked Pawnta Cosmetic Dermatology of Beverly Hills “for coming through late last night with a lip touch up!” and shared a selfie of herself posing in a white robe with fuller lips.

Ever since she’s kept her lips plumped and pouty, suggesting she has no plans to dissolve them again any time soon.

Has she had any other cosmetic procedures done to her face?

According to the beauty mogul herself, the answer is no.

“People think I fully went under the knife and completely reconstructed my face, which is completely false,” Jenner told Paper Magazine in 2019.

“I’m terrified! I would never. They don’t understand what good hair and makeup and, like, fillers, can really do.”

Has Kylie Jenner had a breast augmentation?

Yes! Kylie surprised audiences during an emotional episode of The Kardashians, revealing that she had undergone a breast augmentation at 19 years old.

Speaking to close friend Stassie Karanikolaou, Kylie, who fell pregnant with her daughter Stromi when she was 20, shared her regret over the procedure.

“I wish I never got them done to begin with,” she shared. “[I] recommend anyone thinking about it to wait after children.”

The mum of two also shared that she would be “heartbroken” if her daughter wanted to get cosmetic surgeries when she was 19 like her mum did.

Season three of The Kardashians has seen Kylie open up more than ever about her cosmetic surgeries. Earlier in the season Kylie also denied claims that she had gotten surgery done on her “whole face.”

“I always remember being the most confident kid in the room,” she said. “I always loved myself — I still love myself — and one of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I was this insecure child and I got so much surgery to change my whole face, which is false, I’ve only gotten fillers.”

“I feel like I don’t want that to be a part of my story.”

Does Kylie Jenner have butt implants?

Kylie’s figure is the perfect hourglass shape, but that tiny waist is considerably smaller than her breasts and butt, which is why everyone believes she’s had some kind of cosmetic surgery to enhance her derriere.

BBLs are popular among the rich and famous, as are implants and other surgeries to enhance your behind, though Kylie has denied ever getting one herself.

Then again, her figure is a pretty close carbon copy of her big sister Kim Kardashian’s, so you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s just the genes.

But she and Kim are only half-sisters, and Kylie’s full-sister Kendall has a very different body type indeed.

So where do Kylie’s unreal curves come from? Many believe there’s photo evidence that she has, in fact, had butt implants.

When Kylie posted an adorable Instagram pic of her and Stormi, what should have been met with comments like ‘awww’ and ‘so cute’ was overshadowed by what appears to be a scar on her backside, which had everyone insisting she really does have butt implants.

But it’s not a scar – it’s a tattoo. Kylie has the words ‘before sa-nə-tē’ tattooed on her upper right butt cheek.

Perhaps this tattoo has been strategically placed to cover something up, some fans mused, and even when Kylie’s weight fluctuated through her pregnancies, her derriere stayed perfectly round and perky.

Even if this isn’t a surgery scar, fans still find it hard to believe the young star hasn’t had butt implants.

Her post-baby body

Since having baby Stormi in 2018, Kylie claimed her body changed drastically, saying “My boobs are definitely three times the size, which bothers me. I have stretch marks on my boobs.

“My stomach isn’t the same, my waist isn’t the same, my butt’s bigger, my thighs [are] bigger.”

But before and after photos had fans wondering what the heck she’s talking about because she seemed to look the exact same pre- and post-pregnancy, but we guess you can’t believe everything you see on social media.

Plus, let’s not forget how old the youngest Kardashian-Jenner is still in her 20s, so it’s not too surprising that her body would bounce back so well and quickly after having a baby.

But the same thing happened after Kylie welcomed her second child, a baby boy born in March 2022.

After showing off her bump on Instagram, the reality star seemed to snap right back to her toned pre-baby figure in a matter of weeks and the transformation left fans stunned… and a little suspicious.

With Kylie returning to her pre-baby figure so soon after giving birth, many fans and critics were convinced she must have had some surgical help to get her there, such as liposuction.

But when you consider how much the Kar-Jenner clan spend on beauty treatments, private chefs and trainers, it’s possible she may have just had a really, really good workout plan and diet in place.

And we don’t expect her body to stop changing any time soon, so keep an eye out for her next transformation.

While we’re certain fans will claim it’s all surgery, we have a feeling Kylie will keep denying she’s had any surgical enhancements.
